Ben Caswell

Ben Caswell began reading scripts for Bob Banner in college. Bob was a Visiting Professor at SMU and taught a year-long Master Class in writing and producing every third weekend. During one of these seminar weekends in late Spring of Ben's senior year, Bob asked Ben to join Bob Banner Associates in Los Angeles as Executive Assistant to Bob Banner. Ben started 4 days after graduation.

Within two years, Ben was Director of Development for BBA, working closely with his mentor to find, evaluate and prepare prospective projects.

In addition to being a creative executive, Ben gained experience at BBA as a writer on the Dallas Symphony Amazing Music series for A&E and a segment producer/writer on Happy Birthday, George Gershwin!, the highest-rated pledge drive program on PBS that year.

In 1995, Ben began a professional acting career. Over the next 10 years, he appeared in over a dozen national TV commercials as well as guest starred in several television series. His TV roles include AMERICAN DREAMS, JAG, WILL & GRACE (pictured, right), CHARMED, among others. In 2000, he starred opposite Josh Brolin, Gretchen Mol, and Mary Steenbergen in the CBS movie PICNIC.

During this time, Ben also wrote seven as-yet-unproduced screenplays. One of these he adapted from his debut novel CIRCLING THE DATE.

In 2005, Ben was co-producer (writer/story editor) on the GSN documentary series Anything to Win. Shortly thereafter, he and Chuck started BCP.

Ben enjoys soccer, reading, and breathing the air in Kauai. He is married to his best friend Ingrid and has 2 truly adorable kids: Bryce and Roxanne.
